Spiderweb Mug 6 - 12oz

These are by far my favorite design to make with dark clay. The simplicity of the color and lines hold a quiet elegance, and light glistens off the webbing. This wheel-thrown mug is made with dark stoneware clay and webs are carved when the clay is leather hard. A glossy black glaze lines the interior and is inlaid in the webbing.
